Detail: Cy Curnin, lead singer and songwriter for ‘80s rock heroes The Fixx, will be performing solo material from his new cd "Solar Minimum" plus re-interpretations on guitar & piano of some of the hit songs of The Fixx. For over 25 years, Cy Curnin has been connecting with audiences through his music. Known for evocative lyrics and distinctive vocals, he developed a solid reputation in modern rock circles as the lead singer of The Fixx. In recent years, Cy has also carved out a solo career that has produced a number of CDs, including Mayfly (2005), The Returning Sun (2007) and his forthcoming release, Solar Minimum (April, 2009).
